Route Update

I scouted the long route today for the first time since before the original ride date. The roads have really packed down since then. I wouldn’t call them smooth, but I’m willing to say it is do-able on a road bike AT THE MOMENT. I still think a cx bike or 29er is the better way to go but some of y’all have been stubborn about it so here you go. Conditions will obviously change with any rain or new gravel put down by the counties. We may push the start up to 8am. Post up if you have objections to that.

  1. Mike Brown says:

The earlier the start the better.

  2. 8am is the official start time

  3. Any neutral support/feedzones on the course?

  4. There will be one aid station with about 26 mile to go on the route (both long and short will be together at this point). There are also several points along the way with convenience stores and/or fast food.
