Latest on Bonzai Run
Yes, this is a rain or shine event! It looks like we are the only event in the state still on for this weekend. Please bring a $20 bill for registration by 10am Sunday morning. Don’t forget to change your clocks tonight.
The dirt road sections of this course are “hard” roads so there won’t be any bogs to grind through but you and your bike will get dirty. We will meet at Carson Elementary School in Decatur for parking and registration, then ride our bike up the road aways to the start/finish line on the other side of the railroad tracks.

This will be an out and back time trial on roads made up of multiple surface types. Smooth pavement, rough pavement and lots of gravel. The one thing all of the surface have in common is that none of it is flat!
This is going to be a varied and fun course with a unique opportunity for payout as well. All entry fees will be split evenly where 1/3 go to the fastest time, 1/3 goes to the house to cover expenses and 1/3 goes to a randomly chosen participant who completes the course!
Entry fees are only $15 until 3/1/12 after that they go up to $20 and then $30 day of (if not sold out). More details on course layout and staging will be coming out shortly. We are finalizing which end of the course will be our starting point over the next couple of days. It is likely that the field will be limited by parking restrictions once again.
